In the heart of East Africa, where the landscapes stretch from the Serengeti plains to the shores of Lake Victoria, a new generation of environmental champions is rising. At the forefront of this movement is EarthCare Foundation—a youth-led environmental NGO based in Tanzania with a bold mission: to protect the environment, empower youth, and foster sustainable change in local communities.

🌱 Who We Are

Founded by a passionate group of young Tanzanians, EarthCare Foundation was born out of the urgent need to address the growing environmental challenges facing our country—from deforestation and waste pollution to climate change and biodiversity loss.

But what sets us apart is not just what we do, it's how we do it.

We believe young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow—they are the changemakers of today. By equipping youth with knowledge, tools, and a platform for action, EarthCare is transforming concern into impact, and ideas into real-world solutions.

🛠️ What We Do

Education & Awareness:
Through school programs, workshops, and community events, we raise awareness on issues like climate change, conservation, and waste management. Our interactive sessions empower youth with the environmental literacy they need to make informed decisions.

Tree Planting & Restoration:
We organize large-scale tree planting drives in deforested and degraded areas, involving students, farmers, and local leaders. Every tree we plant is a step toward a greener, healthier future.

Sustainable Livelihoods:
EarthCare supports eco-friendly initiatives that improve livelihoods—like training youth and women in organic farming, upcycling waste into usable goods, and promoting sustainable tourism.

Climate Action Campaigns:
From beach clean-ups to climate strikes, we amplify youth voices in the fight against climate injustice. Our campaigns not only call for policy change—they unite communities and inspire action.
